You can already buy tickets on http://shop.i-motion.ag/en/Events/Ruhr-in-Love/Tickets/Ruhr-in-Love-2017-Ticket Tickets weren't sold out in the last year but as we cannot predict what will happen this year, we advise you to buy your ticket as soon as possible.

How do I get there?

If you decide to get to Oberhausen by train and not by plane, please check the option below:

 

As an example, a ticket from Berlin to Oberhausen will cost around €30 and journey will take around 4h30min.

From Oberhausen central station there's a free shuttle transfer from Oberhausen central station to the festival area.

 

Once you are in Oberhausen you will have a few options to get to the festival site.

 

Free travel:

With the admission ticket on all buses, trams & trains (DB: RE, RB, and S-Bahn, each 2nd class) in the VRR Rhine-Ruhr fare zone. Valid June 27th and 28th 2015.

How much should I expect to spend each day?

This depends on the person, but to give you an idea we´d say around €30 per day should cover the cost of your food and drink.

Important information

When does the festival start? What time?

In 2017, the festival takes place on the 1st of July in Oberhausen.

The festival starts at 12pm and finishes at 10pm.

 

Are there any age limits?

Visitors from the age of 16 are allowed entry into Ruhr-in-Love until the end of the event without being accompanied by an adult and without an "Under 18" form.

Please make sure you have your ID card with you. No admission for anyone under the age of 16.

What´s the average temperature?

During the day the temperature can vary between 23 and 28°C. But at night it gets much colder.
